Ingredients
- 300 g chicken breast, cut into cubes
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon tikka masala (or your preferred seasoning)
- 1/2 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 tablespoon salt
- Onion, sliced
- Capsicum (bell pepper), sliced
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tablespoon red chili flakes
- Bread crumbs
- Oil, for frying
Method
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken cubes with the vinegar, lemon juice, chili sauce, soy sauce, tikka masala, black pepper, ginger garlic paste and salt. Mix well so the chicken is evenly coated.
- Add the sliced onions and capsicum and mix until the vegetables are coated with the marinade too.
- In another bowl, beat the egg and add the red chili flakes. Mix well. Place the bread crumbs in a separate bowl.
- Thread a chicken cube, then an onion slice, then a capsicum slice onto a toothpick or skewer. Repeat until all the skewers are assembled.
- Dip each skewer into the egg mixture, then roll it in the bread crumbs until fully covered.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over a low flame.
- Once the oil is hot, carefully add the skewers. Fry until golden brown and crispy on all sides, turning occasionally to cook evenly.
- Remove and place on a plate lined with paper towels to drain.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
